Dexatrim Max Review

One of the oldest and most well-known brands of weight-loss pills on the market, Dexatrim Max claims the “power to lose weight" on the box.I'm actually surprised they can get away with that. That statement seems like it would go against FDA regulations, which prohibit nutritional supplements from claiming to treat or cure a health condition.

Product Claims: Dexatrim Max claims to burn fat, curb appetite, and increase metabolism. Like most other diet products, the disclaimer states that you should always include a healthy diet and exercise with the pills.

Ingredients: Dexatrim Max contains several common herbal ingredients that are found in weight-loss pills:

  • EGCG (derivitive of Green Tea) - Has been shown to enhance metabolism and enhance weight loss
  • B Vitamins - Converts food to fuel, can boost energy and metabolism
  • Chromium - Supports carbohydrate and fat metabolism
  • Ginseng - Energy booster, traditional chinese medicine

It should be noted that Dexatrim products no longer contain ephedrine or ephedra-based products, which has been banned by the FDA. Customer evaluations on drugstore.com include:

“This product helps me with my appetite and lets me sleep at night too, which is a plus that other products don't do for me. I love the B vitamins too, which I can tell help with my attitude for stress.”

“I was at 148 lbs, and I was down to 141 by the end of the week! I didn't have any bad cravings for chocolate or candy, which I usually can't say no to! But after that week of losing the quick 7 pounds, it quit working.”
